Economics and Statistics

The Department of Economics & Statistics is the nodal agency of the state responsible for the systematic collection, compilation, analysis, objective, interpretation and dissemination of statistics relating to various sectors of Kerala economy. DES publish primary data on crop statistics, Vital Statistics, Annual Survey of Industries, State Income (GSDP and NSDP), Price statistics, Indices of Industrial Production, Cost of Cultivation Survey, Economic Census, Agriculture Census and secondary data on various sectors of Kerala economy.
